Israeli Activities
Electra owns eight properties, three of which are office buildings, and five additional properties under development. In April 2011, the company sold all its rights in an office building in Tel Aviv. In June 2011, the company, along with partners, bought the Tnuva lot in Tel Aviv for NIS 530 million. Electra Real Estate and Electra Investments will own 25% of the lot.
International Activities
UK: Electra owns three office buildings leased to the British government, banks and insurance companies. The company also holds an indirect interest in 16 hotels leased by Hilton.
US: Electra owns six office buildings in various US cities, one of which is apartment building in New York City (60%-owned). The company also holds 20% of the rights in Harbor Group International LLC.
Canada: In Montreal, the company owns eight office buildings in the city center and one property under development; and one office buildings in Toronto.
Continental Europe: Electra holds 41 income-producing properties and four shopping centers in Germany; two shopping centers in the Netherlands; a hotel in Antwerp rented to the Hilton group; a shopping center in Luxembourg; and five income-producing properties in Switzerland that include buildings in Zurich, Geneva, Biel and Lucerne. In May 2011, the company agreed to purchase 85% of the rights to a commercial property in Berlin.
India: Electra holds five parcels of land in the cities of Hyderabad, Mysore and Chennai earmarked for residential building. Electra is building the first phase of a residential complex in Hyderabad which includes 750 residential units out of a total 3,600 planned to be built on the same site. The building of 363 units was completed during the second quarter of 2011.
